The Sippy Cup

Post  Neutrals on Tue Aug 12, 2008 10:49 am

Hello, and welcome to The Sippy Cup! I will change the discussion topic whenever I feel it necessary. It may be daily, weekly, or yearly. Well, perhaps not yearly...

All right everyone. You know the rules, so don't break them. We all know you can follow any sort of rule after being smothered at Joan all these years.

The First -and hopefully last- Normal Topic: High School

Hey guys. I put this topic up so we can talk about how school's going. We haven't had the time to talk to you this past week, Erica, so I thought it'd be good to see how things are going.

Oh, god. That's hard. If I did pick my teeth with this toothpick, wouldn't it get my teeth dirty instead of cleaner? Hm. I guess I could, after I post-brush my teeth twenty times. What would I wish for? Fame, fortune, my books to be a best seller? Ed Westwick? Yeah, let's go with that. XD

Imagine there's a dirty toothpick on the ground. It is legendary. You pick up the thin wooden stick that bears the shitt of the centuries. It is said that if you pick your leftover food from your teeth with this pick, you'll be granted one wish of your choice. But could you do it? Would you be willing to taste the grime on its splintery surface for the wish that might change your life? What would you wish for?

I would wish for someone to talk to. I mean, I know that I always talk to you guys, but I can't ALWAYS talk to you guys. I like it when I can bug somebody without waking them up at three o'clock in the morning. I need like a Casper or something, but my imaginary friend cuts it for now, I guess. His name is Aiden. <333 I scream at him to kill the spiders on my wall.

I wouldn't. I don't need anything that much, and there's only one wish. I couldn't bare it if the wish went wrong, and I lost someone dear.

Perhaps...I might. But that sort of depends.... I have my awesome friends and my imaginary friend...so I'm pretty set for now. I'd probably save the toothpick and use it later....

Nope. Sorry. Unless you have multiple pieces of spinach in your mouth, the pick only gives one.

Then the more you supply the toothpick with, the more wishes you receive. But don't clean it! Or else everyone else's wishes will backfire.

Oooh. What if you wished for a side-ways eight of toothpicks?

Well, then they would just be toothpicks. Part of the magic of the dirty toothpick is the fact that hundreds of thousands of people picked out their pre-chewed, rotting food and had their wishes come true. So the other toothpicks won't really have the eternal line of old leafies draped over them.

And before you ask, the toothpick may be able to pick out multiple pieces of food, but it disappears after all your wishes have been granted and all the food stuck between your teeth has been removed.

Oh. Well then. What if you kept the toothpick and used it everytime you did have food in your teeth? Would you get a wish each time?
